Brothers in Battle by USMCR Capt. R. Bruce Watkins, RET, is a self-published spiral bound memoir. It begins with when he first learned of the bombing of Pearl Harbor during his senior year at Tufts University. It goes through basic training, Cape Gloucester, Solomon Islands, Peleliu, and Okinawa. It also has photographs and newspaper articles about him.  In 1999 he returned to Peleliu and included a chapter about his experiences there in the book.
